I am new to this wonderful coop that brings tucsonians and local farmers together. I look so forward to walking down to pick up my produce every Tuesday afternoon. I feel lucky to live just four blocks away form the distribution center for our local CSA.

I have been introduced to new fresh veggies and original recipes to cook with them. I can feel all of these wonderful antioxidents and nutrients I am treating myself to soaring through my body now. Really!

I just finished soaking and roasting my fresh pistachios, I might add them to a pumpkin bread or muffins that I am going to make with the pumpkin I got this week, or I will chop them to sprinkle atop a pumpkin curry soup with chopped fresh roasted chile peppers.

The goat and feta cheese is amazing and I can hardly wait to try the fresh mozzerella in the spring.

Going to pick up we are treated to wonderful fellow humans who treat us to recipes they have conjured up and usually there is a musician or two delighting our ears whilst we pack up our produce.

I must be off now to serve my guests the wonderful stuffed peppers I made with green onions, grass fed lean ground round beef and chopped green chiles............
