Fulton Farmers' Market

By: Sue Martinez (Nov 23, 2009)
The people of Rockport-Fulton, from my experience as a vendor at the farmer market, are very callous and unfeeling. Early this year I decided to put my home up for sale in San Antonio and rented a travel trailer on Copano Bay to try the area out in anticipation of moving there. The people there treated me as if I was homeless, not friendly to me, never put me on the e-mail list nor included me in any vendor meetings or activities, and pretty much just treated me as if I was going to mooch off of them. I have since returned to San Antonio.

This is for Linda... How can you disagree with someone's experience? You can't. Maybe the vendors that day felt a need to be especially superficial or the original poster "read" them wrong. Point is you don't know and I don't know either. Each one of us and the way we relate to "civilized" society is unique and shouldn't be downplayed.

I so totally disagree. I love Rockport and all the people. I moved here 13 years ago and have never regretted it.
