When I was looking for a program for my daughter while I attended my final quarter of school I cringed at the options. When I walked into Foxglove Farm's homey kitchen with garden-fresh soup on the stove I knew I had finally found the right place. My little 18 month old girl has been attendng the daycare there for four months and it has become an important part of her young life. If you ask her what a chicken says she does not reply "cluck" "cluck" because she knows a chicken really says "BROAK!" Lucy and her staff integrate Waldorf practices with their own family farm program and the results are incredible. I really can't say enough good things about this place. Don't be disappointed when you pull up, it's not the traditional red barn with white picket fence exterior - be aware that the work is all happening where it needs to be, with the kids and what they're doing and eating.
