The Good Farm

This was my first year participating in a CSA. Quiet Creek exceeded my expectations! Each week provided something new! Guess what? I love Harukei turnips and beets that look like a bull's eye inside! Fun long red peppers to stuff, beautiful baby eggplant, fabulous yellow cherry tomatoes, wonderful heads of lettuce! And I loved the u-pick flowers, herbs, raspberries and green beans. Nothing like serving green beans (or those fantastic ones with purple spots) the same night you picked them. I loved watching the little ones discovering the flavor of a lucsious strawberry right in the field. Truly beautiful produce delivered fresh from the fields. Tom and Aimee are doing a fantastic job. I can hardly wait for June!
