I picked Quiet Creek Farm over other CSA options because of the pick your own garden. I grew up in a rural setting and I am currently raising my son in an urban one. To try and foster some love of nature in him, I decided that the weekly trip to the "veggie farm" would be a great idea. It really was a wonderful experience. The staff are amazing, and the pick-your-own area is such a unique asset. They have herbs, flower, paste tomatoes, strawberries, beans and rasberries that you get ON TOP of your usual share. I can't vouch for how tasty the rasberries are, because my son ate everyone we picked : ). The regular share is also wonderful. We were introduced to some new vegetables which have become permanent additions to our favorite list (hakurei turnips are divine, and can not be found in a commercial grocery store). It was a great experience, and I recommend it to anyone considering a CSA.
