We have belonged to Quiet Creek CSA for two years, and have just signed up for our third. It has been a great experience. The quality of the produce has been uniformly excellent, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The setting of the farm is lovely, too, on the grounds of the Rodale Institute. Our girls (7 and 4) look forward to CSA pickup day, and love both picking out the produce and foraging in the U-pick gardens (which are very generous - fresh flowers, strawberries, raspberries, beans, edamame, herbs, paste and cherry tomatoes, etc.). John and Aimee are generous, friendly, and honest. Even last year, when farmers all over the northeast experienced their worst growing season (wet, cloudy, cool, diseasey) in memory, the farm gave us good quality produce with variety. We would highly recommend this CSA to any prospective members. The farm store (where you can also buy cheese, milk, meat, etc. from other local producers) is a nice addition as well, and the fruit share from North Star Orchard that you can join through Quiet Creek is also superb.
