The Good Farm

My small family of three have been members since 2007 and we have never had any regrets. Of course, it was disappointing the one and only time we had a bad tomato crop season, but, that was the shared experience with farmers all across the nation - definitely not the fault of individual farmers. With Quiet Creek, at least, there were plenty of other crops to enjoy. We find that a small share is ample enough to feed my family over the summer months. Quite often, I have an excess of produce and am able to share with my friends and neighbors. They especially love it when we go on vacation and they get to enjoy a free week's worth of produce. John, Aimee and Heidi are so delightful and accommodating. I love that they partner with local farmers in providing, among other things, grass-fed beef, raw cheeses, and eggs. I also take pleasure in experimenting with their recipes and most definitely need their storage tips. With their recommended canning and storage techniques, I find I have a good supply of cabbage and root vegetables well into the winter months. We are absolutely assured that we are doing the right thing for a greener and healthier world and highly recommend joining with the upmost of confidence.
