The Good Farm

By: Carol Kocsis (Jan 18, 2010)
Just signed up for my 5th year membership in Quiet Creek CSA. I fully trust the source -- Aimee and John Good farm on Rodale land, which has been organically maintained for decades.

The variety of flavorful produce available in the weekly share comes along with useful information on proper handling and recipes via the Goods' email newsletter and as handout pages at the barn.

Especially enjoy the U-Pick garden -- browsing among the varieties of delicious beans, peas, tomatoes, berries, and abundance of flowers and herbs is a mini-vacation which this city girl appreciates!

Plus on top of plus -- they partner with other organic farmers to provide fruit shares and a variety of meats and dairy products. The wild salmon is the best I've tasted anywhere.

The Goods and all their staff have been unfailingly helpful and accommodating. Looking forward to the new season!
