Alambria Springs Farm CSA

By: Martha Fitzpatrick (Jan 24, 2010)
We have split a very full bushel of vegetables from June through November with our neighbor for two summers. We are very satisfied with the variety of produce and the quantity. U-pick options for some vegetables are a great opportunity to freeze extra amounts. Often there are extra vegetables at the farm-stand, in addition to the CSA bushel, that can be purchased at "lower than supermarket" prices. Winter supplies of potatoes and garlic can be arranged as well. Although there are larger CSAs in the area, we prefer to buy from a small farm where everything we buy is hand planted and harvested.

Brian and Amy are willing to make creative arrangements for shares so that as many people as possible can eat their fresh produce. They accept SNAP - the new name for the federal Food Stamp Program.
