Borski Farms

By: Kristina Larson (Feb 26, 2010)
Last year, I participated in the Borski Farms CSA. In Salt Lake a few years ago, I was part of a vegetables-only CSA that was good, but Borski Farms is great because there are fruits, plants, and vegetables. I received more peaches, squash, garlic, onions, potatoes, and cherries than I could eat. Borski Farms uses some organic farming methods, and you can taste the freshness in the weekly share. By far, the vegetables and fruit were more than twice the quality in any grocery store. I considered not joining this year, since I will be moving. Several of my friends, coworkers, and my boyfriend asked me in the last two weeks when I will be getting CSA produce again, because they can't wait for me to share the extras with them. I will be signing up for a second year sometime this week.
