We bought a 1/2 hog from Cody in the fall of 2009. It was the first time that I had purchased pork from a local farmer and I can't say enough good things about it. From the bacon, to the chops, to the hams, everything has been amazing. With supermarket meat, you have to marinate or add extra seasoning to make it palatable, but with the pork that we purchased, I just use a little salt & pepper to bring out the natural flavor of the meat - fabulous! I will definitely be purchasing more from Pinnacle in the future. Looking forward to trying the beef and chicken as well. Keep up the good work Pinnacle Pastures!
