I bought a full share in 2009 and was very satisfied with supporting The Eaton Farm. Within their constraints, they were accommodating where they didn't technically need to be, and strove to produce the best quality. To new CSA memebers, I would like to mention expectations -- it's not like Kroger or wholefoods where you pick the quantity and ratio of fruits, vegetables, eggs, and meat from clean, shiny shelves... with CSA, you get what the land produces, how it produces it. If a late freeze hits or a hail storm, you will notice it. Being a suburbanite, I had to learn and adjust my expectations ... but cautiously encourage everyone to try it as a learning experience, at least! Thank you to all the other CSA shareholders who support local agriculture!! -Michael
