Waukesha Farmers' Market

By: Eat Wisconsin (Mar 17, 2010)
When I first started going to the Waukesha farmers market in the summer of 2005 it was small and the variety was pretty weak. Attendance was sparse as well. Every single year it keeps getting better and better. Last year it was crowded every Saturday rain or shine. They attracted more organic vendors and the vendors started offering more variety. One vendor specialized in organic tomatoes while another brought in a variety of greens every week. There were a couple of places selling cheese, eggs, milk, and other Wisconsin specialties. Waukesha Watchdog must have a bone to pick with someone running the market because he/she is clueless about the impact on Waukesha's economy. Go sell your sour grapes elsewhere Waukesha Watchdog, because this market is great and just keeps getting better.

My only complaint is the lack of a CSA/CSA pickup spot at the market. Someone should set this up!
