Sol Y Sombra

I am so excited to find Sol y Sombra here on Local Harvest, and to my surprise read about their CSA share! Last summer I would ride my bike to their farm stand each week to collect my tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, lettuce, basil and so much more. Their produce is locally grown and without any nasty products!

One day as I sat staring at the plump tomatoes, I had the opportunity to meet the two ladies who run the garden. From the smiles on their faces to the dirt caked into their fingernails I could tell that they were doing what they love to do. And what a wonderful thing to be able to share it with the rest of us! I am so excited to sign up for their CSA and receive a large variety of produce this summer. I recommend this farm as it is always nice to support small local businesses. What have you got to lose besides a bunch of food that was NOT grown in your neighborhood?
