Munising Farmers' and Artisans' Market

Along with the Falling Rock Cafe, I would have to say that the Munising Farmers Market is one of the best things that has happened in Munising in the past ten years! Besides the great selection of local produce, it absolutely thrilling to see the COMMUNITY that is developing around local food and art. A related development, the "transition town" movement is also poised to blossom in Munising. This undercurrent of local pride and ingenuity is both inspiring and exciting.
