Erehwon Farm

Seeing the review and associated rating here bothers me, so I thought I'd comment as well. I had been interested in joining a CSA for a while, and decided to try out Erehwon Farm. I was very pleased...great communication, fresh, plentiful food, and beautiful flowers. This in a growing season that was plagued with drenching rains and the associated problems; the Erehwon farmers shared anecdotes, but in a most positive way, no complaining nor excuses, and worked the farm like crazy to get the best they could out of it, and succeeded! After that first year I switched to another CSA for one reason only; the pick-up time and location that Erehwon had didn't work well with my upcoming schedule. The comparison between the two was stark, and I realized anew just how good Erehwon Farm was. I now have the pleasure of knowing two farmers that live in my town who are starting a CSA, and I have bought a share in their program; however, I will always consider Erehwon a wonderful experience and feel lucky to have had them as my first CSA. Anyone looking for a CSA should feel confident in being a part of Erehwon Farm.
