I bought pork steaks and bacon from these guys at the Morganton Farmer's market. The bacon is not cured and smoked, so it's very different from store bought. I wasn't too sure about the bacon but the pork steak was awesome! I had a 3lb steak that I marinated in 1 cup applesauce and 1/2 cup water overnight, then cooked at 250 degrees for 4 hrs. It was fork tender and delicious. Absolutely the best pork I ever ate.
