Ocean Springs Fresh Market

I've been visiting the Farmer's Market in downtown Ocean Springs since moving to the area in November of 2007. I'm disappointed in the variety of produce that is offered and also the lack of organic produce that is sold. I keep going back in the hopes that with each passing week, that things have gotten better. I'm just not seeing it. Our area is seriously lacking in the availability to buy from local organic farmers. With gas prices sky rocketing daily, I don't have the money to drive around southern Mississippi and Alabama looking for great produce.

I'm really disappointed that our area, once again, has fallen short in comparison to other states where organic produce is readily available.

My husband and I enjoy visiting the farmer's market here and we will continue to go for the organic blueberries and fresh bread.......
