Fulton Farmers' Market

Maybe it was the weekend we chose or the time of year, but it was more of a "fest" than a farmers' market and a very small one at that. There were about 6 or 7 vendors. There were no vegetables. There had been some earlier in the morning (we were there at 9 am) but were told they sold out in about 45 minutes. My experience of a farmers' market is of fruits, vegetables and food in general. There were lots of jellies, jams and salsas but in this area, that is abundant at every event. There were two vendors with meats (beef and pork) and one with eggs. The others sold homemade clothing items and plants. Those are things that sell at Shrimporee or Art Fest. We will be back to the Farmers Market to see if it gets better in the months to come, as we live in the area, but our first time was very disappointing.
