Marlee's Creamery

I recently got a chance to visit the farm of Dr. Mark Robinson which folks know as Marlee's Creamery. It was easy to find, and just happened to be a short ride (or long walk) from where I grew up a few miles outside of Carthage.

My wife and I went out to the farm where we were greeted by Dr. Robinson himself. He showed us around the building where the milk is bottled. He explained how his farm is rare (1 of 3 in Missouri, I believe) in that he is licensed by the government to sell the milk in its raw form, directly to customers.

This was my first experience with raw milk. I thought the milk might take some getting used to, and that I might not even like it in beginning. But having researched the benefits of real milk vs. the hormone laced white liquid you buy in stores I was willing to force myself to change if necessary. There was no need! This was by far the most delicious milk I've ever had.

The milk comes bottled the same way your used to, and trust me you will drink it before it goes bad.

Awesome Farm. Awesome Milk. Well worth the $2 it costs more than the junk you get in stores.
