Sage Produce

You may fare better buying directly from Sage Organics produce stand--being able to select more of the specific vegetables you most enjoy and being able to choose from those which are not included in your share any given week. All shares were identically prepared, though there was some variance between full and half shares. Based on the price paid for our full share and the quantity of produce we received, you should expect to pay a slightly higher premium than that at the local grocer. A half-share may be a better bet, the difference between the full and half shares was oftentimes, especially early on, only very slight. 2010 was the first time Sage Organics offered CSAs and our first time purchasing a CSA. It was a learning experience, from both sides I'd suspect.
