I ordered the 15 lb box of Satsuma Mandarins - Shipping was prompt - that was good. However, there were a few rotten ones in the box, not just overly soft, but rotten (I found this out the hard way when I was digging into the box to move the fruit to the fridge. Ick.)

The fruit was not sweet. In fact, it was on the tart side, which was disappointing, since usually citrus from Florida is a real treat. I realize that depends on when it's harvested in the season, crops, weather, etc...but I could have gotten sweeter ones (and I have) in my local organic market.

Just to clarify, these come from CA not FL.

This guy apparently has a case of sour grapes so to speak and did not realize the long journey these took to get to him from California. I was not impressed with the fact that he did not say whether or not he even tried to notify the company for any type of replacement or money back. I am basing my future purchase on the ones who gave the most info about their shipments and from what I have read, they are all positive.
