Now I understand it was the beginning of the "holiday crunch" when it comes to shipping, but I feel the entire time from when I ordered to it arriving at my mailbox was a bit extreme. I ordered stuff from Amazon and various other retailers and it shipped across the country in less time than my oranges got to me, and I was a horrible last minute shopper!
All in all the oranges are delicious and the Pages are simply fantastic, best oranges I've ever had! The color and the flavor is just unreal. The Citra navels make some of the best tasting juice. They were all packaged decently and there were no losses in the box, even considering my mailman dumped them down at our mailbox in the snow.
But if you're considering ordering for a gift or a special event, give yourself a good 2-3 weeks before you expect to get them.

Misty, Many thanks for your kind review of the fruit we shipped to you. I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed it. I went back and tracked your package, and I see that we did ship it out on the 14th. Most of the orders we receive in December are for gifts, and if we ship them too early in the month, people get upset, so we tend to push them out around the middle of the month. The tracking shows that it was delivered on the 20th, so that did indeed take longer than normal -- usually the delivery to your area takes about 3-4 days. During the holidays, after the package leaves our packinghouse (on the 14th), it is of course out of our control, so apparently Fedex and the Post Office were swamped, plus there were a lot of weather delays around that time. Now that we're out of December, the turnaround is a lot faster because we don't have to work around the holiday arrival issue, and the deliveries are pretty much back to normal (unless it's going to a location that's buried in snow or something). Again, thanks for your comments. We always appreciate hearing what our customers say about us -- good or bad. It helps us get better, which is our number one goal. Pete Spyke Owner
