Terra Bella Family Farm of Pleasanton

I was looking for a place to volunteer some gardening time, and found this farm (thanks to localharvest). I spent a great day with Shawn, his wife, and Joe the farm manager separating tomato and pepper seedlings. Great fun! It felt good to support them because they truly are a family farm, and as they try to stick to organic practices, they're doing a great thing for the earth. Plus I got some fresh eggs from the chickens to take home! Yummy!

Excited to see they're going to be doing a CSA, I gotta try to get on that list... :)
