The Green Hills Ranch

I took my family up to the farm. We met Crystal at the house who was very friendly and showed us around the farm. The chicken at this farm are absolutely gorgeous, so many varieties of them, it is obvious that the folks at the farm take a lot of interest, and take care of them well. You can tell by how healthy and happy the chicken look. They are let go in the open everyday to graze. The kids and us enjoyed watching the roosters and the hen in their beautiful colors freely roaming the farm. We picked up the eggs, some that were laid just a few minutes ago.. We had the eggs the very next day for breakfast and absolutely loved how they looked and tasted. I have not seen such a bright orange/yellow egg yolk as in these since my childhood days when my grandma made us eggs from the country chicken she raised in her backyard. Even my wife who does not usually like to eat eggs because of the smell the typical store eggs have, was in praise saying how these are so good and dont smell bad like the others. I hope the farm will maintain good care of the chicken and continue to produce more of these fine eggs. I am really glad I found this farm. I would like to go back to get more in the future.
