Sorry to disagree, but this is the best CSA in the solar system! That's right, all 8 planets don't have one to compare. You'll find John & Diane Franklin to be honest, hard-working, down-to-earth people glad to share their vast knowledge in farming (and anything else). A full share provides copious quantities of produce for a large family - many opt for half-shares. Many are grown from heirloom seeds. This is a working CSA, with work hours on the order of 10 for May and June, and 2-4 the rest of the months. Greens like kale, chard, turnip, spinach, and lettuces, summer and winter squashes, varieties of tomatoes, potatoes, melons, cucumbers, beans, peas, leeks, onions, garlic - these are some of the foods you will get. Our family really enjoys the intro to new foods like kohlrabi, pink banana jumbo squash, turnips, and more. Herbs and flowers are also a regular pick.
