Winter Park Farmers' Market

I drove from New Smyrna Beach with cooler in tow because I have heard so much hype about this market. Over all I was very impressed with all of the vendors however it was very crowded with a lot of vendors and people in one area. The pasta vendor is awesome! I also bought duck eggs and grass fed beef from Lake Meadow Naturals which had a great selection! The bagels and cream cheese from the bread vendor inside was yummy - however I felt a little over priced. The lemonade stand was very good - I suggest the Arnold Palmer. I also bought pickled beets which are to de for. The plant vendors were out of this world. The reason why I gave this market only a three stars was because of the produce. The two main produce vendors you could tell were purely resell. I only saw maybe two true farmers there, one being a hydroponic grower whom I bought sunflower sprouts from and had some of the best looking heirloom tomatoes that I had ever seen! I do understand that some resell is a must is Florida because of the summer heat, however it is a farmers market so I would like to see who is growing my food not packaging from California on the blueberries when I pasted a u pick farm on the way there. I will definitely go back for the vendors that I mentioned above, it's worth the drive!
