Sage Organics produces clean, always fresh, and wonderfully packaged vegetables and greens which make my mouth water just looking at them. And when you talk with Liz, you can tell the way she grows is very important to her.
But of course, the test is in the taste. We were fortunate to be the recipient of a box of vegetables from Sage Organics' CSA program from friends going out of town. We savored the box all week long!
The contents were wonderful in that there were some new types of vegetables to try as well as the ones you want every week. For instance, I had never seen a lemon cucumber before. It was sweet, tasty and fun to eat. And the heirloom tomatoes were wonderfully full of flavor. The box even included herbs.
But the box didn't stop with just vegetables... Liz also included a newsletter about what was happening on the farm and recipes you could make with the box of vegetables! An excellent way to branch out into new dishes and stay connected to the very food we were enjoying!
