The "Commerce Crossing Country Market" is no longer at 199 Pottery Road, but about 4 miles southwest of there, in a parking lot along the train tracks that run through downtown Commerce. It is across from Spencer Park and the post office. The approximate street address is 1645 South Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529-2700.
This is a small (6-12 vendors on average) but active market where vendors sell mostly out of the backs of their pickup trucks. All produce is local. In mid-July 2011, you could buy a dozen ears of corn for $3, and a dozen free-range chicken or duck eggs for $2.50. Organic produce available. Vendors are friendly and willing to talk about where and how they raise their produce.
