The "Commerce Crossing Country Market" is no longer at 199 Pottery Road, but about 4 miles southwest of there, in a parking lot along the train tracks that run through downtown Commerce. This is a small (6-12 vendors on average) but active market where vendors sell mostly out of the backs of their pickup trucks. All produce is local. In mid-July 2011, you could buy a dozen ears of corn for $3, and a dozen free-range chicken or duck eggs for $2.50. Organic produce available. Vendors are friendly and willing to talk about where and how they raise their produce.
