Colpitts PineRidge Ranch

I discovered Colpitts products the weekend of 7/23 at the Broken Arrow Farmers Market. I was very impressed after reading about their products so I decided to try the hot breakfast sauage. Sad to say I was very disappointed. First it wasn't hot. In fact it barely had any warmth to it. Secondly it just didn't have much taste. I read the ingredients and listed was pork trim, salt, red pepper, black pepper and sage. Apparently the seasonings were minute because there was little flavor. At $6 a pound it certainly was not worth the price. I hope the other meat products have better flavor. At the prices they charge for their products I'm afraid now to try anything else. It's one thing to waste $6 but I'm not willing to throw away $15+ a pound for a steak
