Farmer's Market at The Village of Harmony Crossing

By: Kimberly Gates (Aug 7, 2011)
Last year my husband and I were vendors at Harmony Crossing. We and several other local vendors left because they allow a vendor to truck in huge amounts of Florida produce. Most markets only allow locally grown produce, and it has to be grown by the seller. This market advertises as "locally grown" so I believe the buyers are being decieved. We now live in the Lake Oconee area and would like to see our local farmers market something to be proud of. Maybe the new leadership at Harmonys Crossing will understand the importance of a fresh, seasonal, locally grown market.
