Glasswing Ranch

I had the good fortune to visit this farm on my visit downstate to spend time with relatives. The red house sitting along the road was so inviting and the sign of "fresh farms eggs" was like a beacon into the driveway of this welcoming place. The owners of the farm, the Hughes, were as friendly and warm as the animals they introduced me to...goats, chickens, sheep and pigs. They talked to me about the care and pride invested in their animals and garden. The season to have a farm raised hog for me and my family had pasted but I am definitely interested in having a hog for next season. I wish my grandchildren were with me to see the farms animals and garden they would have loved it as much as I did.
