Prairie Winds Nature Farm

I love Prairie Winds Farm's CSA! It has been a blessing this year with no time to grow a garden. CSA is way beyond a home garden since the selection is so much broader. Fresh produce in abundance with extra goodies like free range eggs. We get great things in our basket every week and barely buy any produce from the store!

Coming out to the farm and picking the produce is part of the wholesome, healing experience of getting back in touch with local farmers and slow food. Definitely recommend this CSA for home canners.

On a more personal note I do animal rescue and the Prairie Winds' free range eggs have helped me nurse a quite literally starved dog back to life. With this as part of his regime, he has gone from a septic, skin and bones mess with no fur, to having his fur grow back, gain weight, and even prance and play, in about 10 days. If this is what the food does for a dog just imagine what it can do for us.
