Humming Star Alpacas

I am a special education teacher. I teach elementary student with emotional/behavioral needs. Last week we took the students to Humming Star Alpaca Farm for a field trip. They LOVED it. They learned all about alpacas, got to touch and feed them, saw a video of the shearing process, did a felting activity, made Quipu necklaces and were given an activity book to take home. It was the students (and adults) favorite field trip ever!!! Humming Star wil DEFINITELY see our class again!!
