Manakin Market

The produce is fresh-picked, the meats are local and clean, the variety is wonderful, and the vendors love answering even the most detailed questions. There is also an abundance of artisan-crafted foods and non-food items. Prices are always fair, too. I love buying here instead of the grocery store!

There's usually live music and someone preparing food to eat at the market, offerings that use foods from the vendors. Always delicious! The site is shaded, and there's usually a breeze on even the hotest days. There's a booth with educational materials and someone is there to answer questions about the market.

I love this market and can't wait for it to open in May!
