Greg Garrett's Forbidden Oysters

We tried Greg Garrett's "Forbidden Oyster" brand oysters as a snack the first time. We went back for more. Dinner that evening was cheese, bread, oysters and wine. They are lusciously sweet with a slight saltiness and out of this world. Forbidden or not we'll keep coming back for more.

I expected them to be fresh, but these plump, meaty oysters are also remarkably grit-free. You're missing it if you pass on trying these oysters, but then again, that's OK - more for me to enjoy. Trust me. These top the zinc, iron, calcium, & selenium tablets from the health food store.
