Bear Creek Ranch

I recently bought a quarter cow from Bear Creek Ranch and I'm VERY happy with it! It has a nice mild flavor (so good that I made entirely unseasoned jerky with some of it) and is INCREDIBLY tender. The rib-eyes cut like fillets, no joke.

Jonathan Swift, the man we bought the meat from, was incredibly kind and accommodating. He also followed up with me a week later to ask how I liked it; he cares about the quality of the beef very much.

It was a three and a half hour drive for my husband and me, one-way, to the ranch, but we will definitely continue to do it whenever we need beef. :-) I think next time I will pick up some fruit, too!
