South Plains Food Bank GRUB Farm

I have been involved as a share holder and with the teens that work at the GRUB farm for about 6 years. Not only does our family get wonderful locally grown food, but the number of teens that are served is impressive. I have seen kids on the brink of real trouble be turned around by this program. They learn a good work ethic, agricultural skills, money management, to prepare the foods they grow, to apply for jobs and present themselves well and develop self esteem.
