New Albany Farmers Market

My wife and I stopped by this market and quite frankly was not impressed. Unless you like lots of cookies and crafts. We found it to be mainly store fronts selling their wares. upon speaking with several of the booths and asking about their products they didn't know much about their products and one booth tried to tell us they grew the pistachio nuts -last time I checked pistachios didn't grow in Ohio. A few other booths we stopped at had items from other countries, and in checking out a few on line after talking with them and getting a business card it appears they just buy their products and do not make or grow them. My wife who loves farmers markets couldn't wait to leave. I would not recommend this market unless you have a sweet tooth and like lots of artsie crafty things. I highly doubt we will attend again.
