Me again. I had to write another review after just having tasted the amazing Mangalista pork that Dan and family raise. I have been wanting to try this pork for the last couple of years after reading about it on the internet. Let me tell you, it did not dissapoint. I bought a few different cuts from Dan this past weekend, one being a pork steak that would make a prime cut of beef jealous. The marbling of fat throughout the meat was beyond anything I'd ever seen before. Think of Mangalista as the Kobe beef of pork. That marbling made for not only the most tender pork steak I'd ever eaten, but the most flavorful. Now to find a chest freezer.
