Strawberry Fields U-Pick Hydroponic Farm

My parents are the owners and operators of this strawberry farm and I have spent a lot of time helping there as well. It is mostly a strawberry farm, but they also have many different produce and herbs grown there as well. They even have bee hives and produce their own raw honey! The strawberries are up off the ground so you don't have to crawl around picking, you just walk to the strawberry plants and cut the strawberries off. It's so easy, even children can do it (I have 4, and they are 7, 5, 4, and 2). The strawberries are everbearing, so they are picking strawberries from around the end of June until they get a hard frost (so around November). The strawberries are very sweet and juicy and they are red all the way though! If you are curious or would like to see how it's all done, stop by anytime during the summer! Strawberry Fields has a facebook page if you want to see pictures!
