The Wooly Pig

I purchased 3 fresh chickens last year from The Wooly Pig, two whole and one parted - I couldn't be happier with them. The vacuum sealed packaging was great; I didnâ??t have to do anything to them before I put them in my freezer. Iâ??m someone who shops daily for dinner, and not usually a fan of freezing my meat; however, I would be hard pressed to tell which chicken was fresh and which I froze. The chickens were juicy and flavorful, the way they are supposed to taste! Most importantly, I know what they were fed, which means, I know what I ate!

I can't wait to get my chickens and duck eggs again this summer.
