I feel so lucky getting to be a CSA member of this farm! Their produce is so delicious and varied! Also, a great bargain!! I received a big produce box filled with very clean, wonderfully packed produce every other week for only $20!!! No way could you buy that in a big box store! And you wouldn't know if it was grown safely like Red Clay farms does!!
The variety, freshness, and quality of the produce was awesome! I have received: okra, corn, apples, grapes, basil, peppermint, zucchini, tomatoes, bib lettuce, kale, artichokes, broccoli, new potatoes, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, green bean, beets, and many types of squash ( yellow, acorn, patty pan, and the wonderful: spaghetti squash)!! Ohhh! I can't believe I almost forgot to mention the unbelievable English peas!! I ate them raw and cooked!! They were like dessert--so sweet, bursting with freshness!!!
All of this wonderful produce was my ticket to a cooking adventure!! I was on the web all summer finding healthy ways to cook things I had never cooked or eaten before! Fun!!
The best part of this experience was meeting Cynthia! She always delivered our produce to the very convenient drop off and was so accommodating with our schedule! Also, sent recipes and helped me over the phone!! What a sweetie!!
Great farm, great produce, great experience, and great people!!
Can't wait to do it again next year and sign up for getting a Winter box! Still haven't got to buy some alpaca yarn yet, but I will!!
