Yohanan Farm

We bought a chicken from Yohannan Farm at the farmers market in Purcellville that turned out to be the tastiest chicken we have ever had! We roasted it on our rotisserie and didn't use any seasoning except a dab of olive oil and S&P. The chicken was flavorful and juicy! So good!! We also were excited to see farming return to Loudoun in such a wholesome way. The Yohannan Farmers are very careful to give the best product possible. They raise the chickens themselves, do not use antibiotics or hormones, and let them grow as they run around a spring fed pasture. How great it is to see a young family dedicated to farming and investing in Loudoun County. We were worried those days were gone once the last of the dairy farms closed. One of the nice things about their product is that it can be purchased conveniently at various organic farms in the area such as Stoneybrook market in Hillsboro, Hamilton Mercantile, Mt.Airy farm market etc. Check them out! You will not be disappointed!!
