Don't let the color put you off - theses are colorfast and work great! There are also natural colored ones without any dye. These are not balls of yarn so they are not going to unravel. They are about the size of a softball and do not make as much noise as tennis balls (which leave a 'rubbery' scent to clothes) They help soften clothes and reduce static from friction during tumbling in the dryer and they really reduce drying time by separating and creating space between laundry to allow hot air to circulate better! Can't say enough about this product Kudos!
