Hilltop Farms

I picked Hilltop Farms CSA because they are the only Certified Organic Produce Farm in Wake County. It was a great choice and I have never looked back. They provide plenty of my favorite leafy green vegetables such as kale, lettuce, arugula, swiss chard and collards. The juicy organic strawberries are the best!! I did the Work Share Program and working on the farm with Fred was more than just about harvesting produce; it was spiritually satisfying to be a part of the food that I consume and to see how hard Fred works to provide the best produce to his customers. I enjoyed the Watermelon Festival he held for his customers last summer. They had drummers, hula hoopers, games, food and lots of fresh organic watermelons. I am forever grateful for what Hilltop Farms provide to the local community. If you are looking for fresh, local, organic food, I would suggest giving Hilltop Farms a try. Every choice I make, I'm voting either for or against the kind of world I wish to see.
