Spurgeon Veggies CSA

This is our first year with the Spurgeon CSA and I must share that Eloise and Dusty Spurgeon present a beautiful bounty of veggies each week! Seriously, when we open our share, they are beautifully washed and packaged. Greens, reds, purples and whites....photo ready! We take them home and wash and prepare them to use for the entire week and as we wash dry and package to refrigerate...WE TASTE! I was shocked to find that the same smells, tastes and delight as a child in the garden had returned! It was like walking back in time. The lettuces were tender with a fragile crispness that tasted good with NO dressing, the onions, kales, cauliflowers, radishes and chives were the same...delicate, delicious and satisfying....Want something a bit different? Try radishes roasted in the oven with EVOO, salt, pepper and garlic 425 for 12-14 minutes....OMG
