Verde Valley Farmers' Market

I made a trip to the Camp Verde Farmers Market for the first time since moving to the area, this warm Saturday morning, not sure what to expect! I found a welcoming shaded market, lively with all manner of people enjoying great live music and the delights of one of the best fruit crops in years (I am told). And came away with new friends, insider info for my own garden from the generous experienced local growers, not to mention tomatoes plants, fresh greens, apricots, golden honey and fresh bread. My grocery shopping and community connection for at least a week, until the next market day taken care of. It was really a wonderful local experience. Hats off to everyone for sharing their love of the Verde Valley, the fruits and Vegis of their labors!
