Happy Hills Alpaca Farm

I interned on Happy Hills Alpaca Farm for two years. During my time there, Val and Kaarlo gave me many opportunities to work hands on with the animals, which can be sometimes hard to find when you begin looking for animal experience. They are both very warm and welcoming. Their love for the alpacas radiates off of them. It was this farm that actually inspired me to get a degree in agriculture, which I am finishing in December! They use holistic methods of feeding and treating the alpacas which is hard to find in agriculture. They take exceptional care of the animals on their farm and they have been amazing mentors to me. I recommend taking a trip to visit this farm- you definitely won't regret it!
