We visited Earth Song Farm on Wednesday. Turning into the entrance, we journeyed down a long, dirt road with many muddy rain puddles, wondering where it would take us. It looked so desolate & we wondered if the farm was even in business. Finally, we saw a pen of healthy looking goats, some cars and store fronts. The owners waved and told us to head to their goods store. We all purchased eggs and spoke with the owners. We were introduced to their many friendly goats, some of which were youngsters and very curious of us. We learned about the farm, and it was obvious they actually CARED about their chickens, goats, and produce. Next time, I'll buy some goat butter. Though the appearance of the farm is primitive, these farmers do care about what they do. I want everyone to know, Earth Song Farm offers very healthy foods. This morning, we ate some of the eggs and they have ORANGE yolks and are delicious! Their hens are free range and happy. You don't get that from miserable, caged hens :)
